windows not starting until third/fouth attempt

Hi

Very dependent on my PC for work. In the last few days I have had a few occasions where when I turn on PC I don't get passed the welcome screen (The Asus screen). After a couple fo retries Windows launches. This morning took about 4 attempts and I'm getting nervous.

I have Ace utilities and run 'registry cleaner' from time to time.

Any suggestions why this could be? Sorry there isn't really an error message to report.
