navigate to X:\Documents and Settings\%User profile%\Start Menu
you can simply righmouse on the exe you want a shortcut for and drag it into this folder..
you should have a short cut

Create the shortcut for the program ( Right click on it create short cut) you want to use. Then drag and drop it into start up folder in your task bar > start > all programs > start up
