On opening My Computer only shows FDD, shared files folders and owners files folder

I have a computer that was infected by a virus. Virus has been cleaned and everything is almost back to normal. However, a couple of outstanding issues remain.

If you open My Computer the only items displayed are Shared Files folder, Owner's Files folder and the 3.5" FDD. No other items can be seen, including C & D drive. Note that in Computer Management Storage, Disk Management the drives are there and all appears normal. The drives work perfectly, DVDs can be played in Drive D etc. It is just that they can't be see in My Computer.

Also the All Programs does not appear in the start menu. I have right clicked on this, looked Properties, Advanced but still cannot find anything that will allow me to turn this on.

I am sure that I have a couple of corrupt registry keys but cannot track them down.

It will be a big help if some one can provide me with some clues.
