Can windows xp handle ie7 with 20 tabs, outlook at same time without becomming buggy?

Asked by Leex1 in Windows XP Operating System, Outlook Groupware Software, Internet Explorer Web Browser

I had 3 instances of ie7 running with one having 20 tabs and the rest 3 tabs each.  I also had outlook and seiko slip pro running.  but than i tried to open another instance of ie7 and could not connect to any websites in this instance and also could not print on the slip pro label maker.  everything was slow, graphic glitches, applications malfunctioning.  Task Manager showed 768mb ram free, IE7 240mb in use.
Once i closed outlook everything started functioning.  but dont think outlook is the problem.  Even with enough ram left, could it be that ie7 is bugging down the cpu?
