One of my customers has a network with a Workgroup called ABCXYZ (for example). On one of his machines he has a User Account called ABC XYZ ( i.e. the same as the Workgroup but with a space between the C and the X). Does any expert know if this is likely to cause networking problems. For example, there is a shared ACT database on this network, which works fine from all the other machines, but it just cannot be accessed from the machine with the ABC XYZ Account, even though that machine can access all other shared resources/files over the network.
Any suggestions/explanations welcome (apart from changing the User Account name, which we will try when next at the Customer)
