The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. My windows PC is really slow, not sure whats causing this.. heres my hijack

Hey guys,

I have a dell dimension 2400 with windows xp, 2.6 p4 with 1 gig of ram. Lately its been running really slow. When I say slow, I basically mean really slow reaction time with programs like IE, FF, my chat program and any other smaller program I run. Im never really running anything huge like dream weaver or photoshop. But overall, a sluggish performance. I want to make sure thats its not a issue like a virus or something else that could be causing the slow down. I know my specs aren't that great and I do know that I do run a lot of programs at once, usually have tons of chats going on and also have a few tabs open in Firefox. I plan to upgrade to 2 gigs soon.

I have Kaspersky and spy sweeper full versions installed but never run them together and i actually had to stop running Kaspersky during work hours because things were just getting extremely slow.

Can you guys look through my hijack log to see if you guys notice anything fishy.
Also, I attached a image of the task manager to show you guys whats running on my computer and how much memory is being used. Could you guys also look at that.
