Hi,
I am trying to sort out one of my finance directors laptops. It's a Philips Freevents X55 (Turns out to actually be a Twinhead H12Y as Philips don't manufacture them!)
On normal boot, there is a BSOD for a millisecond then it restarts. On safe mode, the OS gets as far as agpCPQ.sqs then restarts.
I've tried a WinXP CD and I get the 'setup did not find any hard drives' error. I assume this was because of the SATA drive inside. I've used a product called nLite to add the chipset drivers to the CD but still no joy.
I get the hard drive not found error when I try to launch recovery console also.
Any help would be great as I need to get this laptop sorted by this week.
Thanks in advance,
Rob
