Office 2003 files have Generic Icon

Asked by whoam in Windows XP Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite

Office files on my PC, .doc, .xls, etc, no longer have the corresponding applications's icon, but the generic icon as if a program association does not exist (which it does).  I can go in and choose the proper icon, but this only fixes that on particular file, not all the files.  I'd like to get back to the point that any .doc file has a MS Word Icon associated with it.Start Free Trial
