whenever we were starting the xp machine it was asking the operating system to choose.......by mistake we went to the
Mycomputer - properties - advance - startup and recovery settings - system startup edit - and deleted the following by mistake
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn

now it is not booting up......
