Today I had a call that a user is getting intermittent blue screens. When I went out I checked the event viewer, but didn't really see anything. Most of the time I just bring the machine back to my office and run diagnostics on the drive, but other than that we usually just end up re-imaging the machine.
I asked the user if the problem occurs at specific times or during a specific action and he said that the problem happens randomly. He asked me so what's wrong? I had no answer for him.
So, I'm not asking about this problem specifically, but asking how you guys start troubleshooting blue screens in general?
