Try this:
Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-System Information. Click on "components" and highlight "problem devices". Any hardware device with a driver problem will be listed here. Make a note of the PNP Device ID line of the entry. It will contain a Vendor number and a Device number (VEN. . . . DEV. . . .)
both four digits long.
Look up those numbers here:

http://www.pcidatabase.com/index.php

This will tell you the manufacturer and the chip number.  First try the manufacturer's website.  If no joy there, try a driver database like Driverguide:

http://www.driverguide.com/

These hardware diagnostics are free:

Belarc:
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
Siw:

If you have problems downloading, use the System Indformation proceedure in my post above to find out the manufacturer of the driverless chips...

Try DriverMax it searches for drivers so you don't have to.

My suggestion would be to find the motherboard driver disk, install the drivers, reboot, see how it goes.  Still have issues, removed the ??? and reboot again.

Those controllers your missing i would look for an a Motherboard Disk, especially if its XP revert.

For the High Definition Audio, use this:

Microsoft* HDA Package

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/11036/eng/kb888111.exe&agr=&ProductID=954&DwnldId=11036&strOSs=&OSFullName=&lang=eng

For the rest, from the screen you've shown us, choose a device that shows as Unknown or has a Yellow Exclamation mark. Click on the + next to it to expand on it. Right-click on it. Select Properties. Go to the Details tab. Select Device Instance Id. Click once on the string that looks like this: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1229&SUBSYS_00708086&REV_10\4&25296D99&0&50F0

Press Ctrl-C to copy the string and Ctrl-V to paste it into a message here.

Do this for each device for which you need drivers.

See these instructions, which include screen shots, if you need more help with the process.

Thanks everybody, I tried different solutions and solved most of the problems (video, audio, processor), except 3 missing drivers which seem not exist in xp version : Multimedia Video Controller (unknown, TV analog and DVB-T tuner card), Beanbag Emulation Device (Formosa) and 802.11 b/g WLAN (Gemtek)

by: souseranPosted on 2008-10-13 at 14:07:41ID: 22706485

Did the Microsoft HDA package work for you? If it did, points should be assigned.

See dav219's solution for the Beanbag Emulation Device here:

If you post the Device Instance Ids for the other two devices as was requested, we may still be able to help you find drivers.

If you're using the nVidia GeForce 6150SE onboard video, this should be your driver:

NVidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 WHQL Certified driver download

http://driverscollection.com/?file_cid=40188350136ec13d4b25463b10d

If you have a PCI card in the box, post the Device Instance Id for it.
