Is there a UAC function like in vista for XP?

I have 4 XP computers running SP3 in an SBS 2003 environment.  The users of the 4 client computers do not have administrative privileges and it they constantly get bombarded with updates from Java, Flash, Shockwave, etc. that they are unable to install due to their limited privileges. Is there a remedy to this situation besides logging out of the restricted account and logging in as an admin to make these updates? It is a small family run business and I trust the computer users enough to have administrative privileges but I was hoping there was a better way.  Does XP Pro or SBS have a similar UAC function like Vista, that will prompt them to enter an admin password when they attempt to make system changes rather than having to log completely out and then back in as an admin?

I swear I remember a feature in XP that allowed a user without admin privileges to give a password when trying to change system settings and such. Am I completely off base?
No, that's what I told you - RUNAS.  You can right click most shortcuts and applications and see a "Runas" option - and from the command line you can type RUNAS /user:username "application.exe" and then be prompted for a password.
