Browse All TopicsI have about 20 computers all with OEM product Keys. I built the first one and installed all updates including service pack 3. I imaged that hard drive via ghost and tried to change the product key via several ways:
1. http://support.microsoft.c
2 Magic Jelly Bean Keyfinder
3. (XP Key Changer) http://www.moonvalleysoft.
4. Rock XP
None of them worked.
The problem seems to come back to that fact that on that first hard drive I activated XP and after updating to SP3, there is no way to DE-ACTIVATE
Has any one else ran into this problem. And please I know about syspep. I done this method hundredths of times but never after installing SP3.
Thanks for any help

Change your Product Key without a Reinstall to match your
genuine Product Key or COA:
First, please verify if your COA sticker or product key: http://www.microsoft.com/r
matches your Product Key being used on your system. You can
view your product key with the Genuine Advantage diagnostics tool
(at least the last 15 digits) located here:
http://go.microsoft.com/fw
The Genuine Advantage Product Key Update Tool is only valid for
users attempting to change their current non-genuine Product Key
to a genuine COA sticker or genuine Product Key - all without a reinstall! http://go.microsoft.com/fw
