Browse All TopicsAfter an atomatic installation of Windows XP SP3, the follwing error appeared on rebooting:
"AirGCFG.exe - Entry Point Not Found. The procedure enry point apsGetInterfaceCount could not be located in the
dynamic link library wlanapi.dll."
I searched for the problem and the recommended solution was to upgrade to a newer version of the WLAN driver (ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Wirel
I did that and the DLL error disappeared.
Now I'm no longer able to use an encrypted WLAN connection. Before the update I used WPA2 PSK. With encryption turned on, the WLAN adapter now seems to connect but is unable to aquire an IP address from the router. Unsecured WLAN works without problems and connects within seconds.
I tried to configure the WLAN connection with the XP tool and the DLink tool, same result. Any ideas?

I tried to upgrade the router (Draytek Vigor 2200VG) to a newer firmware, but the router resets everytime an upload is started...
Therefore I replaced it with my test router and now I'm able to use WPA... very strange. So the computer seems to be ok, the WLAN stick is ok. Its a problem with SP3 and the router...
