Downloaded the Creator sw again it installed properly this time. First download must have been corrupted somehow. If problem reoccurs in the future I will write back. This question can be closed.

Browse All TopicsWhen trying to install any downloaded software program, the same wrong installer is launched. For example, in trying to install Creator 2009 once the extract has completed the installer for Microsoft Live Meeting 2005 launches and tries to install. If I let it complete the installation and try to install Creator again, it does the same thing again. I have uninstalled Live Meeting via the control panel but it doesn't fix the problem. I had the same thing happen with another downloaded program MyMailList and Address Book and had to get the CD image to get it to install properly. I suspect I have either a registry problem or Microsoft installer program has been corrupted but don't know how to proceed from here.
