Adobe Flash CS3 - How to retrieve Serial Key

Hi Experts,

Can you please tell me if you know a method of getting the serial key for Adobe Flash CS3. I have it installed on the computer but no idea what license I had used. I have tried clicking ABOUT US but no joy.

Any help will be appreciated.

If you are lucky you may find the key with a keyfinder tool.

If that does not help you will have to search the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Flash\Version

Check for a subkey "Registration" that may contain data called "Serial" or "Prodreg".

I know it doesn't exist because "Version" is a placeholder for the actual version number which I do not know (as I don't have Flash CS3 installed).

Replace "Version" by "CS3" or "9.0" or whatever version numbering you will find in that key.

Since Adobe seems to use an activation scheme that ties the software to a specific computer, there is a chance you might find something here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Flash 9  or:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Flash\9.0
