Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. how to find my product key of windows xp pro installed in my laptop

I got Dell laptop preinstalled with windows xp pro. my cmd prompt and regedit is crashing my explorer whenever i invoke. I am trying to reinstall my OS - windows XP pro from i386 folder. But it is prompting me the product key. i donno how to fined my product key. Customer service from Dell seems poor.

I need to find my product key to re-install my OS - win XP pro from my i386 folder or using the recovery cd provided by dell. To do that i need the product key. Thanks if some one let me know how to find my product id.

i already tried the key available in i386 folder unattend.txt. But not working.
