No contact to HD after expanding userinit.ex_ in recovery mode
I had the same problem as in this Q: https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/24162567/XP-logs-on-then-logs-off.html
I tried the "expand H:\i386\userinit.ex_ c:\windows\system32\
" solution, but the pc froze when I did it (I replaced H with D which is my disc drive). I had to turn off the power. After that it seems like I don't have a HD anylonger. I tried to start in recovery mode, but a operating system wasn't found. Then i tried to do a repair install but again it couldn't find an OS installed. If i check the Bios it can see a 250gb sata drive.
Am I in trouble?

This is embarassing and quite surprising - I tried to remove all of the sata HD related cables and attach them again... now it is working... weird...
It's still a result :)
