How to find win xp SATA driver for Dell PowerEdge T105?

Hi, I have the same issue as rajithjose. I purchased a Dell PowerEdge T105 with AMD Quad Core. During the installation procedure of win xp there comes a bluescreen that I think is caused by a wrong SATA driver. I understand how to build an installation CD with the driver included. My issue is how and where to find the correct driver. The HD is a Seagate ST325031 the controller is an on board SATA controller. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks powerpoint65!

Hi Warlock, this is a good question. The issue is that I only know, that it's a DELL PC. How can I get the information which motherboard or controller it is? In the DELL specs I didn't find anything. At the moment, there is no OS installed...
Try downloading belarc advisor to get the info you need:
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
You can locate the Model type/Manufacturer info most times right from view the mobo. Find the manufacturer stamp on there. Its typically in white print along the middle of outside of the board.
Hi marine7275, I'm from Germany and it's already pretty late here, maybe I didn't understand the belarc advisor tool completely. I think this must be installed on the PC right? The issues is, the OS is not running as I can't complete the installation of win XP... :-)
Correction from above:
"Along the middle or the outside" of the motherboard.
Once you find it, google it and go to the mabufacturer's website. This info you seek will be there.
Hi TheWarlock, I have just opened the PC. Is it possible, that the mobo manufacturer is PWA Pandora? I have never heard about them and can't find their homepage...

Hi Punky, thanks for your comment. I'll just trying to do this and will post the result later today.
Hi Punky, your tipp was obviously the right one. I managed to install win xp with this drivers. The HDD seams to work correct. Now I only need to add an ethernet drive but this should hopefully not be such a big deal. Thank you very much!
