Why scandisk/ checkdisk is activated everytime I boot my laptop?

Earlier checkdisk used to be activated in the event of an improper shutdown but nowadays it gets activated in every restart/ booting of my laptop.
How can I get rid of this? My laptop creates problem while shutting down (especially with apoint.exe, ctfmon.exe). Is it anyway related to checkdisk activation?

To disable checkdisk on drive letter c, open a command prompt (start->run->cmd) and write (/x means exclude):

chkntfs /x c:

its likely that your hard  drive is about to fail/bad sectors. Check the event log viewer. Go to system events and look for any notifications regarding the hard drive,especially the red x errors.

it just might not be noticing that its running right, had this problem once before restart in last know good config and it should stop
