It would be great if you could upload your mini-dump files. They are located in C:\Windows\Minidump.
Just rename the files to something like dump.dfg instead of dump.txt. EE doesn't like *.txt files ;-)

that's new; i always ask them to rename the dmp files to txt ? ?

by: Raver87Posted on 2009-06-22 at 03:12:19ID: 24680950

Oups, that's right nobus =P Ignore my first post and post them as dump.txt instead as nobus said. I haven't had my daily dose of caffein yet ;-)

Well, the funny thing is that EE accepts any format except *.dmp and some other movie formats =P But right now it feels like we are a bit off topic ;-)

Well, after reading your question one more time (after a coup off coffe this time) I started to recognize some parts off the log.
I remember a similar case we had at my old job and the problem there was with windows update (wuauserv). Check this link to see if there is anything that can help you:

http://forums.techarena.in/windows-update/243469.htm

Here is some more information about DCOM aswell:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distributed_Component_Object_Model

But I would still like your dmp files just to check =)

Apparantly this can be caused by the service being disabled with group policies or registry NoAutoUpdate  It can also be caused by DLL's required by Automatic Updates needs to be registered:
REGSVR32 %windir%\system32\wuapi.dll
REGSVR32 %windir%\system32\wuaueng1.dll
REGSVR32 %windir%\system32\wuaueng.dll
REGSVR32 %windir%\system32\wucltui.dll
REGSVR32 %windir%\system32\wups.dll
REGSVR32 %windir%\system32\Wuauserv.dll

Have left highlighted details here>
