I found this program to be extremely user friendly as far as making bootable USB drives.

I have not much to add other than leew's suggestion is my pick. I just wanted to support them as I use the UBCD4WIN on a daily basis. It works wonderfully and you can use UBUSB.EXE that is included with the doanload to make a bootable USB drive, which works...most of the itme for me. The CD has never failed me though. So if I was choosing a solution, I'd pick leew's answer.

If you have the ISO image of the recovery console I can help recommend an amazing program that will make the USB drive bootable.
