I already searched the knowledge base to get an answer on this one, but the soltuion does not address my issue. When booting up a computer, I receive a message: "XMNT 2002 program not found, autocheck skipping." It just blinks the message and the comptuer continues to boot up without furhter incident. I'd like for this error not to pop up as it is not normal.
In disk management I see three partitions: EISA configuratin of 47MB FAT 32, the System 33 GB NTFS, and 11GB logical NTFS partition.
Everything seems to be runnig fine, but shouldn't I try and resovle the error, espcially if the autocheck is not running?

To remove the registry key in Windows XP
1. Exit all programs.
2. On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Run.
3. In the Run dialog box, type the following:
regedit
4. Click OK.
5. In the Registry Editor, navigate to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\
6. In the right pane, double-click the following value.
BootExecute
The Edit String dialog box appears.
7. Remove the line that references Xmnt2002.
For example, if the data value of BootExecute is:
autocheck xmnt2002 /bat="C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\PQ_B
autocheck autochk *
then remove the first line so that the value looks like the following:
autocheck autochk *
8. Click OK.
9. Exit the Registry Editor.
10. Reboot the computer.
