This is a Windows Xp that joined to a Windows 2k3 AD Domain. Upon logon, user can only see the wall paper, the system still busily loading. If I logon using different domain user account, systgem can bootup without problem. After that, I found that that user profile is exceeds 1.2gb in size. What is the best practice right now? to shrink the user profile?

Please check what is the profile limit on server. Also if the user is using only this computer then you can login as local administrator on this computer and replace his profile on the documents and settings folder under your installation folder. Then reboot the computer and login with the user profile. this should usually load the profile
