I connect periodically to a network share to some other departments network in the form of
\\computer\share$
Windows has the password saved under the username user@domain.local
However they changed the domain name of the computer for some reason, even though the NETBIOS name and the IP address of the computer remained the same.
When I try to connect, I get "there are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request" as the old domain no longer exists.
If I had this as a shared drive, I could Go to my computer>Tools>Disconnect network drive.
But this share is not listed there, as I only access it from the run dialog.
How can I clear the saved credential for this share so I can be prompted to enter the new credentials?

Those two ideas sure sounded right on the money, but:
There is no "mountpoint" key in the registry, there are a couple of "mountpoints2" keys that indeed contain all my mapped network shares, but not this one I connect to directly without a drive-letter shortcut. However there were alongside the shares tons of xxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxx
That Stored passwords box was empty. Not only that, but my user was not on the list, only the local system accounts (not my domain account)
