script add account in outlook express?

is there any script examples out there that can show me to programaticly setup outlook express? I need to add a email account, without using gui.

aha. I see. prf files.

Seems easy enough to create prf files using Custom Installation Wizard

and I'm guessing that outlook express and plain outlook can use the same prf format.

Specify the PRF file as a command-line option for Outlook.exe to import a PRF file without prompting the user. For example:
outlook.exe /importprf \\server1\share\outlook.prf

I'm going to try this out.

Import account settings using registry:
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services/browse_frm/thread/42bd2ff52bf3dc02

I tested the above and that works. it seems outlook express are pretty limited in scriping and command switches, so registry seems like the only method. gawk... but atleast it works
