IPS Core service

When I have installed Mcafee the messages in Outlook become transparent.
Someone suggested that I turn off IPS Core service.
What is IPS Core service. Is it save to do that and if so how do I do that?

Download hijackthis from www.hijackthis.de

Do a scan and in there you can find the IPSVC.exe (Lenova's service) and can be disabled.

I downloaded the program, did a scan and found in log file the IPSVC.exe.
How do I disable it?

So you should be able to select the checkbox (something like O23) and click on fix selected in the same application.
