Install updates and shut down

Please see attached image..

I remote support a few PC's and have always been able to install updates and restart.

Anyone know HOW I might be able to change frorm "Install updates and shut down"
to  "Install updates and restart" ?????

No,
Not using WSUS.
this particular installation is Small. I remote In to support.
have done similar, in the PAST.

For what ever reason, I get "Install updates and shut down"  instead of
  "Install updates and restart" .....

I don't think it's possible to do that with the way you're configuring updates. What you might be able to do is get the machine to automatically update at a set time, it should then restart automatically if need be.

The suggestion in this previous thread enables automatic installation of updates, but you have to manually restart at a later time >

Yes, there certainly wasn't an option to do a "restart" back in 2005.   These "eggheadcafe" links can often be quite informative, with comments from MS MVPs, although clearly this article has not been updated since 2005 >
