Is there a way to install printers to a specific AD group via a GPO? I have upgrades the schema to R2, but it looks like I need to fully upgrade to 2003 R2 to install the print management console. Can you all correct me if I am wrong regarding the upgrade to R2 to get the Print Management Console? If that is correct, is there another way to install network printers via GPO. Yes you can. Here is the sample of the script:

vbs -ac -p \\printeserver\printer_nam e

hdc/device /print/Vis taPnPSec.m spx

@echo off
cscript %windir%\system32\prnmngr.
exit
==========================
- save the script as a batch file and linked the script to user login script.
- this works on XP and Vista but you might need to check this if you having problem adding printer for Vista users http://www.microsoft.com/w
