Go to Start=>Control Panel
Open System Properties.
When System Properties appears, click the Advanced tab.
Under Startup and Recovery click Settings.
Uncheck Automatically restart under System Failure.
Click OK.

BSOD's are usually caused from bad/incompatible drivers, corrupt windows file, bad RAM bad sectors on a hard drive or in some cases a virus (rare).
Have you checked the event viewer to pin down what is actually causing this issue?
