VBscript to install network printer

I have configured USB printer in linux pc using CUPS. I want to install this printer in windows xp using vb script. This printer is password protected.

Printer details:

printer path: https://192.168.1.1:631/printers/epson1

It possible to add internet port printer using vbscript?

Hi,

I executed the below command in windows xp command prompt it showing some error message.

command:

cscript prncnfg.vbs -g -s https:/192.168.1.1:631/printers/epson1  -p epsonprinter
 -u xxxx -w xxxx

Error Message:

Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.7
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

Unable to get SWbemLocator object Error 0x800706BA The RPC server is unavailable.
