"Computer Browser" wouldn't start - the rest do. When I try to start it it says that a dependency service or group failed to start. suggestions?

trying to see \\printer (a network path) from my windows xp machine. My other machine sees it just fine. I think I disabled too many windows services.
which windows service allows me to browse to network paths?
I already checked and "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" is enabled in LAN conneciton.

Make sure 'Computer Browser', 'Server', 'TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper', services are not disabled.
