Where can we mount or unmount a drive letter in Windows XP?
We have to many drive letters assigned to an unexisting drive. What must we do for deleting those drivers?
We already check for virus with AVG. No result.
Check the screen shots for more details.

If you right click on them in My Computer, and choose Disconnect, they'll disappear. Is this what you're looking for?
The only way they'll reappear in that case is if you have a log on script that is mapping them at start-up.

Try this in the command prompt:
net use /persistent:no
net use F: /del
net use G: /del
net use H: /del
{F:, G:, H: - replaced with which ever drive that you would like to disconnect}
Hope this helps.

Those extra CD Drives look like Virtual Drives created by the PowerISO software you mentioned. You use these Virtual Drives to mount Disc Images like .ISO files as if they were a CD or DVD.
There's an option in PowerISO to tell it how many Virtual Drives you want it to create and someone had probably set the amount to 8. Set it back to 1 or 2 at most.

Probably due to a Image Software such as Power ISO - which i see has resolved your issue now
