Blue Screen of Death Mini Dump Analysis Request - Windows XP

Greetings wise wizards of EE:

I'm helping a friend with an aging Dell Dimension Windows XP Home desktop, that has been suffering from the dreaded Blue Screen of Death quite frequently of late, about three times per week. She is unaware of the exact event that triggers the BSOD, and my cursory inspection of her machine did not reveal any obvious cause.

When she restarts her computer it performs normally until the next BSOD crash, which are highly unpredictable, and may be several days apart.

I did copy the latest Mini Dump file from her Windows/Mini Dump folder, which I am attaching to this e-mail. I am not versed on how to analyze BSOD Mini Dump files, so I am hoping that one of you fine wizards can take a look and let me know if the cause of the BSOD crashes is revealed.

Many thanks in advance,

Zovoth

interesting though, the process that caused it was carbonite backup.... wonder if it was trying to back it up or check it for changes and it freaked out?

Great Maker that was a rapid reply!!! Many thanks to both leew and michealaknight, for your nuclear-quick and helpful response to my Blue Screen of Death inquiry. Now I know exactly how to proceed on solving my friend's issue. I shall begin with the video card driver, and possibly replace the card, as well as make sure she has the latest version of Carbonite.

Thanks again for your help, and may the wind be at your back.
