Emulate Unplugging USB Device Remotely
Hello Experts,
I primarily work remotely and at times need to emulate unplugging a usb device when installing/repairing the device. Is there a tool out there what will allow me to do this on XP/Vista/7 machines?

Just uninstall it from the device manager, and hit F5....
Might not be the best way actually...
What about safely removing hardware?
Or stopping/starting the Shell Hardware Detection service?

Thanks. This is a workable solution. I am not using it with a terminal server but simply workstations I need to disconnect the usb devices from remotely. I found this software which is similar to the software you suggested which i like: http://www.incentivespro.com/downloads.html#usb-redirector
