We have a HP Desktop (XP SP3) that has been running fine for over a year, all of a sudden when the computer logs in after showing the desktop, it freezes. &nbsp;I can move the mouse around but cannot even do a task manager with ctrl alt del. &nbsp;I can log into safe mode, I disabled all unnecessary items from startup and attempted to login again, the same issue. &nbsp;I can log in as administrator in safe mode and it will be fine, but if I log in as administrator in normal, it freezes. &nbsp;I ran a full scan with Kaspersky and nothing was detected. &nbsp;I ran malwarebytes and it found some adware items nothing else.<br />
Can't figure this one out.

Microsoft Windows XP is the sixth release of the NT series of operating systems, and was the first to be marketed in a variety of editions: XP Home and XP Professional, designed for business and power users. The advanced features in XP Professional are generally disabled in Home Edition, but are there and can be activated. There were two 64-bit editions, an embedded edition and a tablet edition.
