cloned hard drive replacement has boot problems

new laptop hard drive installation problems: loading pbr for descriptor2 done comes up and goes no farther when I try to boot a cloned HD that was recommended from dell...used Apricorn cloning software and hard drive from them with usb enclosure....cloning said successful(congrats came up)...put it in and the loading problem....have reinstalled the original HD for now and it works fine...
