Terminal Server Display settings

I am using a Dell PowerEdge, running Windows 2000 server as my terminal server. I am also using Wyse and Compaq dummy terminals to connect the users to the terminal server thru a RDP connection. When the user is logged on to the terminal server, if I try and go to the display settings, I can get only the 256 colors and no other options. The only way I know how to get more is to update the driver but the Advanced option is not available. The dummy terminals are using a default monitor and not the actual drivers for the Dell monitor that I have. I have the drivers for all the monitors using the dummy terminals so how can I access the Advanced button in the Display settings for each user to allow for better color and picture quality. The reason I need to do this is that when I am running a Powerpoint presentation, the pictures appear fine on the monitor DIRECTLY connected to my server, but all the remote connections with the dell flat screen monitors appear skewed and very ugly. I would appreciate any help I could get. Thanks.
