I have "Oxford Talking Dictionary" program installed on the hard disk as "Diskless" i.e. running program doesn't need to access CD-ROM but with this mode if CD-ROM is not inside the CD drive then I can't access the map and pronounciation. I have tried copying CD-ROM contents on to the hard disk and installing and changing the registry key " installation source path" to hard disk path but it doesn't work. Is there a way to work out ?
Thanks in advance!

several methods to deal with the issue
1. if the content of the Dictionary is retrieved from CD, then u must need the CD
or
2. u can copy all the content from the CD to a folder hdd, then install from that folder
or
3. make a CD image from the CD(using winiso, u can find it in download.com), the use
daemon-tools to mount the image, then install from that image.
the most important, u need to have the CD on hand now to achieve 1,2,3...
hope this helps
You could try copying the data files from the cdrom to a directory on your hard drive and using fakecd -

Greetings, Anjanipajiyar!
Use a virtual CD-ROM program to run from hard disk. Here is a good one with a trial version

Hello There
Try uninstalling it completely, then copy the contents of the CD to the HDD THEN reinstall it :0)
