Hi Caroangel
We use Citrix XP and I also work with 1.8 at a customer and I have to agree with Jason the disadvantage with Citrix is the cost and printing.
Almost all of our support cases regarding Citrix is printing issues and bad performance so be sure to plan your environment for the future so you don't end up in a situation were you have printers and servers that's overloaded with traffic.
Another thing is to be careful with is new patches and servicepacks, I've learned the "hard way" that the strangest things can happen after an update.

Hello, Caroangel.
We've used Citrix at my small government healthcare agency since the winframe days (i.e. a long time). We're currently migrating to Presentation server XPe. There are many andvantages of Citrix, but there are a few disadvantages I'll hit on.
1. Cost-- this thing isn't cheap. Citrix licensing is per seat, so that helps, but you've got to make sure you've bought enough.
2. Printing-- This has always been an issue with citrix. In the metaframe days there are text files you have to edit to get printers to work. Each new model of printer is another line to edit. Presentation server helps this alot, but it's still not perfect. A company called uniprint (www.uniprint.net) says they have the answer for $1000 per server. I saw a demo at Citrix's last iForum, which impressed me.
3. Initial setup-- we've had all the parts for a couple of weeks to setup our new Presentation server farm, but we've had some problems publishing apps with NFuse.
Another thing to consider is whether you need to really publish apps centrally from the datacenter. I think that the managabiliy it provides is valuable, but there is manpower overhead of configuring and maintaining the apps, patches, and updates.
Hope this helps,
Jason.
