Hello:
I am having a problem with Internet Explorer 6.0. Approximately 90% of the time when I try to go a web site, Internet Explorer hangs. Sometimes it hangs with a blank white screen with menu bar, toolbar, but the body of IE is white. It almost looks like it’s trying to resolve the URL. Other times, IE comes up, and is partially displayed (but URL/Page is not) with the other open windows behind it. IE never displays the page/URL.
My computer is a Compaq EV510, Windows XP Pro SP1 w/all Critical Updates, Microsoft Office Pro XP, and Dragon Preferred 9.0.
Another thing to note, I have several clone machines with same hardware and this is only happening with one. I have re-ghosted several times and even replaced the hardware.

You can attempt to restore the defaults in IE, some times they get all messed up. Tools --> Internet options --> Advanced --> Restore Defaults.
Have you tried pinging from that machiene to an external website? You might want to check and make sure that the network cable is plugged in and that your network configuration settings are correct! You could also have a DNS issue with the computer that you are on, causing IE to hang.

install the internet connection again by using the default setting , mean that remove the recent one and then create the new internet connection again, by it setting mean that when u r creating dont do any thing, its a kind of bug u can say ,
and try to install the internet 6.1 , or the update available on the net,it has an option of firewall.
Always first Update the spyware removal tools and then run them one by one in safemode,,,, also Download HijackThis from here, run it and Post the Log File here:
