With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

I can't get rid of a Home Page Hijacker TRIED ALL SPYWARE AND ADWARE REMOVERS - The culprit is :

I can't get rid of a Home Page Hijacker TRIED ALL SPYWARE AND ADWARE REMOVERS ! It won't even let me install Yahoo Companion Toolbar with the spyware ! It uninstalled it the first couple of times I had downloaded and installed it, now i download it and it won't even install at all! I hate this HOME PAGE HIJACKER THING. There are three items in my ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS All with some moniker that includes the word "Shopping" and when I attempt to ununstall them I get the following message for all three of them:

Unable to open http://looking-for.cc/uninstall/ShoppingWizard.html

I have used ADAWARE. SPYBOT, Yahoo's SPYWARE REMOVER, and I could name about five or six more; this thing is crippling my computers during internet use, and doesn't effect me until I launch Internet Explorer, this is very nerver racking, and oddly enough I had NO PROBLEMS with anything like this in a long time, but two days ago I needed to use my laptop in a location that did not have any wi-fi available, (I use COMCAST in my home and both laptops are used with wi-fi at home and on the go more often than anything else I use T-Mobil Hotspots, like I said NEVER any problem with these HIJACKER things, but since I needed dial up I was going to use a friend's AOL account, and put a new AOL CD in to get dial up access, MAN EVER SINCE I have not been able to cure this problem... HELP ! URGENT ! I can't work like this and all my work is done on-line.
