How to Create an MSI package for RealVNC
We use RealVNC to support users on our network. We run VNC viewer in listening mode so that we can support our users when they are not on the LAN. They simply right click on vnc server icon and click on add new client .......
I would like to create an MSI package that would automatically install RealVNC and create a shortcut that would connect to our helpdesk computer. So if for whatever reason a user needs support from a computer that is not one of ours (sometimes their home PC or whatever) alll he would have to do is download and install the VNC package and then click on a shortcut.
I installed WinInstall Le 2003 but i'm not really sure how to do this. So i guess my question is what is the best way to do this and how??
Thanks in advance.

Install a fresh copy of 2K or XP use Winstall to take a before snap shot install your app reboot then take an after snap shot.
If I am not mistaken winvcn can be run from the command prompt too.
So creating a selfextracting winrar archive which runs a batch file (which in it's turn connects it all) should do the trick
