Recovering or resetting the admin password in XP Pro
I just started work for a company that is mnoving offices and I am setting up there new office. I have a few pc's that are not seeing the network and are not allowing me to log into the server. I am running xp pro on the clients and server 2003. I know that I can reset the admin password locally if I can get onto the network, but I can't get on the network.
They have no idea what the admin passwords are the the pc's or if they are even the same. Is there a way I can get these passwords or reset them al least?
If I do can reset them, are they blank by default?
If I can't get them or reset them is there any other way to get into these pc's and change the network settings so that they can be used without wiping the drives?
thanks,
