Run the task as a system account task. If you open task scheduler and then select the task, make sure you have the option "Run as" set as "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. Also make sure "System" is set int the "Security" tab.

Windows 2003 Scheduled Tasks
I am running several scheduled tasks on one of my Windows 2003 servers. I have noticed the only time the run is when I am actually logged on and have the console up or at the server. If I logout or disconnected from a TS session, the task will not run and gives a Last Result of 0x1f. I have admin rights and my account is used for each task. Why won't these run?

Have you checked out the Event Logs for entries around the times that you want these tasks to run? You might find an expanation there. I assume you have double-checked that Username and Password are ok. Have you tested with another account?
