how do i turn it off? i have a windows 2003 small business server and i have looking for where to turn system restore and hibernation off but i can't find it?
please help...i only have 730 mb left...

system volume information too large in windows server 2003
i have 12G of C:drive and my c:\system volume information is 5 Gigabytes. i tried to clean it up but the system restore clean up is grayed out. also, my hyberfil.sys and pagefile.sys are more that 1.5 GB each. i am fast loosing disk space, what should i do?

Turn it all off! You don't need (and don't want) hybernation on a server. If you need system restore, try reducing the amount of space it will use on C:, otherwise just turn it off (just make sure you have good backups).
Personally, I don't believe either of these (or shadow copy) is appropriate on the system volume. I always turn it all off.
