Sure....
In Outlooks main window, right click on your contact folder, go to properties...
Under contact properties, go to the Outlook Address Book Tab....
Check the "show this folder as an e-mail address book"
If you can't see this tab you may not have the full install of Outlook, or your admin's may have customized it to not be avilable.
Hi there!
Hmm, if you can see your contact folder on the left but it doesn't show on the drop down either in the Address Book or from using the "TO" button... need to check to make sure it is able to be viewed...
The first and easiest place to check is to RIGHT CLICK your contacts folder that is on the left. Select PROPERTIES.
In Contacts Properties there is a tab called "Outlook Address Book".
Ensure the check box for "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book" is , you got it.. Checked.
If that doesn't do it for you, then we need to verify the address book is configured correctly.
This involves going into and viewing/changing/addind as necessary the Outlook Address Book as access via TOOLS | E-MAIL ACCOUNTS | DIRECTORY.
If we need to get into more detail here we can.
