What are the differences between these two..?

If both are termed as Operating Systems on Mainframe, then what is MVS ..?

People say MVS is the OS on mainframes.

There is quite a bit of confusion in using the terms..?

could some one clarify..?

what are the considerations while migrating from VSE to OS390..?
