Using Clients CD Key with My Windows Copy

****** BEFORE MODERATORS READ PLEASE UNDERSTAND WHAT IM TRYING TO DO ******

This is not Illegal!

I run a small it business and often need to reformat computers. I have legitimate copies of windows here from multiple places however when clients give me their computers they have often lost or misplaced the cd.

They have the sticker on the computer to show they have a legit copy of windows.

How come when i use one of my copies of windows i cannot enter there CD-Key as it comes up as invalid, and also if it has worked in the past the activation has failed.

There must be a way around this. Its driving e crazy!
