Remove custom event logs windows 2003

Does anybody know how to do this.  I created a custom event log for a temporary app that we have since removed and the log is there in the event viewer. Can I just delete it?

Can it be done through windows admin..or does it need to be an app.

You could also delete the Custom Log from HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog
